Occupational Therapy is part of health sciences in a biopsychosocial perspective. It deals with multifaceted rehabilitation, improving the physical, mental and social well-being of individuals and social groups, by supporting participation in activities recognised by the individual or social group as having value and meaning. These activities are related to the areas of self-care, education and work, as well as leisure and recreation. They allow participation in the social and economic life of a community. As a sphere of practical activities and a scientific discipline, studying in this field requires an interdisciplinary approach that allows work. The Wroclaw University of Health and Sport Sciences is the first and only university in Poland providing education and training according to the system of the European Network for Occupational Therapy in Higher Education (ENOTHE).
