Your Benefits
Your degree in Industrial Engineering
The aim of the Master's programme "Industrial Engineering" is, on the one hand, to deepen the professional competences (including the social and civil society aspects) acquired with the first professional qualification and the first relevant professional practice.
On the other hand, the orientation of the programme towards the field of "Industrial Engineering" is intended to enable graduates to acquire planning and strategically oriented decision-making competence at the higher management level. The foundation is based on the fields of engineering, economics, digitalisation and sustainability, as these are essential for the optimisation of future products and processes.
In addition to the technical knowledge, the aim is to enable graduates to quickly familiarise themselves with new tasks methodically and systematically and to develop solution concepts.
Study Content
The Master's programme lasts four semesters, in which you depen your knowledge in engineering and management as well as digitalization and sustainability.
You will gain practical knowledge through numerous projects and case studies in each semester. In preparation for the job market, you will not only acquire the needed theoretical knowledge in the field of engineering, but you will also acquire important skills to help you apply this knowledge into practice and learn how to use relevant tools.
A scientific-theoretical orientation of the master's programme is shown in the examination of current research statuses in the lectures, as well as in the preparation of scientific papers.
