A bachelor's degree in counselling and psychotherapy is a good opportunity to start on the path to helping people with their mental health and wellbeing. You will be able to blend your ability to be compassionate and understanding, with the clinical and scientific knowledge you gain throughout your degree. Usually taking 3-4 years to complete when studied full-time, a counselling and psychotherapy degree will cover various core modules, as well as other specialist subjects. These could include therapeutic techniques, human development, psychological distress, and personal and professional development.
Tuition fees for international students will vary depending on where you choose to study and where you are from. You might be eligible for financial aid, such as a scholarship or grant, which can significantly help with the cost of studying abroad. Counselling and psychotherapy graduates can choose to either look for a job, or pursue further studies.
