Study a Animation degree abroad in 2025

Animation is a creative discipline that is known for its work of making inanimate objects move. The most common use of this is in film and television. Historically, animation has been created by drawing or painting images by hand onto transparent sheets, which will then be photographed and shown on film. Nowadays, the vast majority of animations are made with computer programs and are all computer generated imagery.

During an Animation degree, you will cover the basics of animation, as well as looking at the specifics of the computer programs needed to be an animator. Some examples of modules you could study are:

  • Introduction to Animation
  • Visual Effects (VFX)
  • Pre-production and Visual Development
  • 3D Computer Animation
  • Applied 2D Animation
