About Engineering Management, MEM - at University of Windsor

Accelerate your engineering career by obtaining a Master of Engineering Management (MEM) degree from the University of Windsor. As Ontario's only weekend engineering management degree, the two-year program allows working professionals to earn their master's degree without interrupting their careers.

Offered by the Faculty of Engineering in partnership with the Odette School of Business, the MEM program prepares engineers for management roles. Graduates are ready to occupy leadership roles in multinational engineering and technical enterprises and contribute to manufacturing strategies, corporate innovation and operations management. Coursework also includes planning and executing technology commercialization and go-to-market strategies to foster an entrepreneurial spirit among MEM graduates.

On-Demand Focus Areas and Flexible Schedule

MEM is offered as a two-year, weekend program designed to accommodate the busy schedules of working professionals. Classes take place every second weekend on Friday evenings (6-9 pm) and Saturdays (8:30 am to 5:30 pm). Participants must complete eight courses plus an engineering management capstone project linked to one of the following specialization areas:

Manufacturing Strategy

Operations Management

Project Management

Entrepreneurship and Innovation

Supply Chain Management

Notes about fees for this course

Fees are an estimation and are based on tuition for sixteen (16) months or four (4) academic terms. Does not include Incidental Fees ($2,000*), Textbooks ($2,000*), Living Expenses and Meals ($12,000*).

Entry requirements

Undergraduate degree in engineering or related discipline

Minimum GPA admission requirement must be the North American equivalent of B. Students with substantial work experience may be admitted with lower GPA on probationary basis

Minimum 2 years of work experience in an engineering related field

Non-native English speakers must demonstrate English proficiency with IELTS: 7.0 / iBT TOEFL: 100 scores
